Young Thug recently launched his latest EP, ‘Hear No Evil’. Consisting of a slender three tracks, the EP boasts impressive features, including Nicki Minaj and 2016’s XXL freshmen cypher’s, Lil Uzi Vert and 21 Savage.

Thugger’s 3-body project is available for listen on the usual platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.

Here at the Vibestyle Blog, we’ve had a good listen, to give ya’ll our review on the EP.

Vibestyle Review

We have had a couple of projects released this year, consisting of mere 3 to 6 tracks, including The Weeknd’s ‘My Dear Melancholy,‘ and Jacquees’ ‘This Time I’m Serious‘ albums. Young Thug appears to have hopped on board of what seems to be a trending choice for Hip Hop and R&B artist’s this year. Though, Thuggers tracks do not seem to be part of an upcoming album.

There’s a savage energy that circulates the trio, through Thuggers choice in features, background tracks, and lyrics. Something that the artist has successfully done before, as we can hear in projects ‘Super Slimey’, and ‘Young Martha’. It’s a shame there wasn’t anymore tracks.

My favourite track has to be ‘Now’ featuring 21 Savage. Not only because I’m a fan of 21, but because the track offers a uniquely distorted melody; which certainly adds to the established theme of the EP.

While each track deserves its unique rating, the EP scores a 6/10. Solely towards the fact that I’m left wanting more after the third track. I really do hope Young Thug produces an album with a similar theme; or possibly develops the EP into a full album.
