Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts fans will be ecstatic to hear that the spin-off movies will be getting a second instalment – Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald. To add to the excitement, Heyday Films and Warner Bros. Pictures have released the official teaser trailer, and already the movie is showing signs of meeting the standards of a blockbuster hit. Being the tenth edition to J. K. Rowling’s Wizarding World franchise, I suggest that you expect nothing less.
Directed by David Yates, who has worked with the Harry Potter movies over the years, Fantastic Beasts 2 sees Jude Law portraying Albus Dumbledore, Johnny Depp undertaking the role of Gellert Grindelwald, alongside many more exciting actors and actresses.
We see the familiar role of “magizoologist”, Newt Scamander (portrayed by Eddie Redmayne) in the trailer, finding himself at the heart of trouble, with what may seem like a pursuit after him, where Dumbledore expresses his faith in Newt, a former student of his.
Crimes of Grindelwald is due to be available in cinemas on the 15th of November in Australia, and the 16th in the UK and US.
