Highly Recommended Movies
It’s been two years since the release of the post-balboa movie, Creed, with its successful box office revenue of $173.6m. For those who don’t know, the boxing movie, or Rocky spin-off is set in the subsequent time to the Rocky Balboa series, with Michael B. Jordan starring as, Adonis Johnson Creed, son of the late Apollo Creed who starred in the 1979 – 1985 part of the Rocky Anthology (portrayed by Carl Weathers).
Over the weekend, fans will be glad to see that Sylvester Stallone took it to Instagram to reveal the cover for the 2nd installament of the Creed series, set to be released in November this year.

Rocky fans will be familiar with Ivan Drago, who was portrayed by Dolph Lundgren. Drago is best known for his antagonist role during the Rocky anthology, being responsible for Apollo Creed’s tragic ringside death.
Intriguingly, Creed II appears to focus on Drago, and his son, Drago Jr. who’s role seems to illustrated by Romanian Boxer, Florian Munteanu. The focus of the Drago family suggests how we’ll see Donnie Creed’s journey turn to seeking ringside revenge for the father he never met.
Will Ryan Coogler Direct Creed II as well?
Michael B. Jordan seems to be making a name for himself in blockbuster history with his recent work in Marvel’s Black Panther, which is already shaping up to be one of the greatest films the year has to offer.

But with his success, Ryan Coogler, the director for both Creed I and Black Panther, alongside 2013’s Fruitvale Station is to be saluted. Coogler seems to be exhibiting a phenomenal track record in directing and screenwriting blockbuster hits, proving that whatever is to be directed by him in the future will likely be a success. However, in respect to Creed II, Coogler is expected to join as an executive producer, with Steven Caple Jr. as the director – who’s work has been commended through the directing of the 2016 movie, The Land, featuring Erica Badu, and Machine Gun Kelly.
Will this mean that the absence of Coogler’s touch will be a completely different vibe to the second movie?
