Mission Impossible has so far avoided the inevitable franchise slump, hopefully this is maintained in Fallout. The newest installment will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie who has an impressive filmography with titles like Jack Reacher, Edge of tomorrow and Mission Impossible : Rogue Nation. While also having worked closely with Bryan Singer (X-Men Films). These connnections mixed with the legacy of the franchise, this will be a guaranteed blockbuster.
The return of Ethan Hunt’s (Tom Cruise) team is likely to be action packed and a thrill ride. Hopefully, this will resurge the action genre, which has become stale in recent years.
