The uncertainty is finally over as LucasFilm reveal the official title of the latest Star Wars movie via Instagram . Star Wars Episode VIII is now officially known as Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

As we can see, the 8th Star Wars episode will be in cinemas in December 2017. Now we know when we’ll find out who the last Jedi is, since the final scenes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens of 2015 left us on a cliff hanger, leaving us wandering whether the last Jedi is Luke Skywalker himself, or Rey – portrayed by Daisy Ridley.
